Working to a budget (with budget tyres)

Hometyre Norfolk travelled to a Ford Focus in Thetford, to fit x4 budget tyres (Presa 205/55/R16).

Once I arrived, I found that two of the tyres were at the legal 1.6mm limit. The two rear tyres were very old, dated from 2008. It was clear that the rear wheels have not been inspected for a while as they were rusted on. It took some force to remove them!!!
Once they were finally off, I took a wire brush to the wheel stud to remove the rust. I also sprayed it with copper grease spray. This should make it easier for the next time the wheels need to be removed.

All four tyres were fitted, each rim was cleaned and the tyre pressures were set correctly.

I left with another happy customer!!
