Mobile Locking Wheel Nut Removal and Tyre Replacement Around Thetford and Brandon

Hometyre Norfolk took the mobile tyre fitting service to Brandon next to Thetford. 

We were asked to examine a Vauxhall Astra van with a puncture in Brandon. The customer had a spare tyre that was unable to be fitted due to a rounded locking wheel nut key. This meant the customer was stuck at home with a flat tyre.

Hometyre successfully carried out a locking wheel nut removal for all 4 nuts.

We took the wheel off, to find the puncture was coming from the bead of the rim where air was leaking slowly, this combined with the weight of the vehicle, was causing the tyre to go down. We cleaned up and sealed the rim with a bead seal.

Unfortunately, the existing tyre, a Hankook, was unfixable due to it being driven whilst flat so we fitted a new 195/60r15 Riken tyre.
