First Tyre Safety Day October 4th
So it's National Tyre Saftey Awareness Month 2017 this October, and a great time to really start thinking about your safety in advance of the forthcoming winter period. It is a fact that many motorists fail to check their own tyres - often leaving it to service mechanics or the MOT tester to advise them.
It's also easy to forget the significance of the role your tyres play in maintaining your safety on the road. In fact, your tyres save your life EVERY time you use the vehicle - be it simply getting around the next corner or stopping in time not to pull out in front of that oncoming 16 wheeler!
And it's not just the understanding how to check your own tyres themseleves, but also being able to check the pressures too. Properly inflated tyres provide better grip, handling, comfort, braking ability, fuel economy and wear longevity too! Paying for tyres is never a pleasure and the cost will always come at the most inconvenient of times. However.... by periodically checking your tyres, you can start to predict when routine replacement will be due and budget accordingly!
In conjunction with Tesco at Ipswich Rd, Norwich NR4 6DZ, we're on site here all day on OCTOBER 4th providing FREE of CHARGE, NO OBLIGATION tyre safety and pressure checks.
Come and learn how to check your tyres and pressures - or just have us do it all for you from the comfort of your drivers seat or while you shop! We're on hand for free advice throughout.
