Hometyre - Your Flexible Friend
I took a call one morning from an existing customer. He had been on his way to the railway station and experienced a puncture. He could not afford to miss his train to London so he carried on and parked as usual in the station car park. His tyre by this time was only just still on the wheel. His question - can you sort it out whilst I am work so that I can just carry on as if it had never happened? No problem.
Later that same day, I took a quick trip to the car park to locate the car, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, confirm the tyre size 235/65R17 and make sure that there wasn't a locking wheel nut fitted. All checked out OK, so I sourced a tyre locally and returned to the vehicle to change his tyre.
A quick phone call to the customer to confirm all was complete and to take payment over the phone. How flexible was that? The customer phoned us up with a problem and it was sorted with minimum fuss and the customer didn't even need to be there. How many other companies could be so flexible at such short notice?
