New Nexen tyres fitted to a Toyota,Honda Jazz and a Ford Transit and a Continental tyre fitted to a VW Golf.

Last week we rescued a customer who works at a village college as she had a flat tyre on a Toyota Corolla and after fitting a replacement tyre we informed our customer that both front tyres were low on tread so we returned this week and fitted new Nexen tyres size 195/60/R15 to the vehicle. We have also fitted Nexen tyres to a Honda Jazz in Longstanton and a Ford Transit van in Cambridge. We were called by a regular customer who had damaged a rear tyre when driving home from work in a VW Golf and we have just fitted a new Continental tyre size 205/55/R16 to the vehicle. We also had a call from a new customer in Duxford as a front tyre on a Citroen C4 had hit a kerb and our customer was stranded as the vehicle had no spare wheel. On arrival we informed our customer that it is best practice to fit the new tyre to the rear and move the existing rear to the front. Whilst doing this we discovered that the rear tyre had low air pressure and we discovered a nail embedded in the centre of the tyre. We were able to perform a puncture repair much to the delight of our new customer.
