New Nexen tyres fitted to a Honda Jazz,an Audi A4 and a caravan.

The day started with a visit to a new customer who had noticed our van the previous week in Cambourne.

The customer required the offside front tyre on a Honda Jazz replacing so we arrived at the agreed time and fitted a new Nexen tyre size 185/55/R15 to the vehicle and explained it was best practice to move the existing rear wheel to the front axle and fit the new tyre to the rear so reducing the chances of a puncture.

Next it was off to Cambridge to fit new Nexen Roadian tyres size 175/65/R14 to a single axle caravan and during our conversation with the customer he stated that the main reason for changing the tyres was he was taking the unit to southern France during the summer and was fearful of a blowout on the journey. While we fitted the new tyre we were able to show and explain to our customer the benefits of fitting Tyron Bands to a wheel to aid better control of the unit in the event of a puncture.

We then headed to Stetchworth as a regular customer had noticed damage to a rear tyre on a Land Rover Defender so we fitted a replacement BF Goodrich tyre size 235/R16 to the vehicle.

On the way home we dropped into a local business in Oakington as an Audi A4 was gradually losing air pressure but unfortunately we discovered a screw embedded near the shoulder of the tyre so a new Nexen N8000 tyre size 225/50/R17 was fitted.
