A good time to check your tyres as a wet and windy start to June.

It has been a miserable start to June as the rain and winds continue and it is a reminder to us all that is not only during the winter months that our roads become hazardous as even now with the water laying on the road surface we will all need to take extra care when driving. It would be advisable to check the tread depth of your tyres and if there is any doubt concerning the safety of your tyres do give us a call.

We started June by visiting a couple of customers in the Newmarket area as an owner of a Jaguar XF had noticed uneven wear on the front tyres of the vehicle so we arrived at the agreed time and fitted two new Pirelli P7 tyres size 235/55 R17 and performed a wheel alignment on the vehicle.

Next it was off to Stetchworth to fit a couple of new Dunlop tyres size 215/45 R16 to an Audi A1 for a regular customer. On our way back to base we visited another regular customer living in Isleham to fit a new tyre to a Volvo as he had a screw embedded near the sidewall of a tyre.
