Fleet Tyre Inspections In Bristol

The weather is turning for the worst, the roads are colder and incidents are on the rise. In preparation for the autumnal period, we are seeing more and more companies book through us to inspect their fleet of vehicles. This ensures that they are ready to head out to a customer at a moments notice and doesn't slow down the cogs of their business.

Throughout the network, we work with small businesses. Whether they only have two vans or twenty with a mix of cars and trailers.

After arranging a date and time to suit the company, we head out to their main site and start the inspection. We record the registration of each vehicle, note the current wear status, tyre pressures and any other items to note. For example, some tyres by be without valve caps whilst others have a bulge in the tyre. This report is then sent to the relevant person. Any issues highlighted on the day will be at the foremost of our report in which we will have a discussion and book the relevant vehicles in for a puncture repair or tyre replacement (for example).

Occasionally, a company will ask for their vans to receive a wheel alignment service. Not only does this help fuel economy but also decreases the rate of wear on the tyres reducing the need for more frequent tyre changes in the future. Another service that often crops up is for the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to be checked. Much like tyres, the rubber seals in the unit start to deteriorate over time (over the course of several years) which can cause the valves to leak. A flat tyre is a no good vehicle.

Although true winter is still a month or so away, many of our customers are choosing to swap their summer tyres to their winter set in preparation for the harder months. No matter the weather, the swap over wont slow down their business 

Overall, this is a free service to the client as we invest our time and specialist skills into them. This leaves them the free time to operate their business. We believe this is for the best as we can build long term relationships with the clients.
