I Need Help with TPMS!

What is TPMS?

A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is an electronic tyre safety feature designed to monitor the air pressure inside pneumatic tyres on vehicles. From November 2014, all new passenger vehicles were required to be equipped with a TPM system as a standard feature.

Why is my tyre pressure warning light on?

There's a few possible issues that cause the light to illuminate!

If it's flashing
, that tends to point to the hardware itself. The sensor fitted inside each wheel is battery powered. They have an expected lifespan of around seven years. When the battery fails to produce enough power for the sensor to send a signal, your car assumes a fault and the light flashes.

If it's just 'on', it's indicating a likely pressure loss on one or more wheels. This could be as simple as you not having checked them for a while - or something more sinister like a puncture or a cracked wheel, for example.

Can you help get my TPM system working again?

Absolutely! Our technicians can diagnose issues with your TPMS, and they have replacement sensors and stems (the bit you see sticking out of the wheel) on board for replacement on site - wherever you are, and at a fraction of the main dealer prices.
