BMW iX Electric Vehicles and the i* Tyre Fitment

Only recently did we report on the newest BMW * mark fitment, the *1. As BMW enters the game with its plethora of electric SUVs, BMW now needs to approve tyres for use on their electric vehicles and distinguish these between the normal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

The new fitment of i* will relate to the iX series of cars, this fitment will be formally introduced to the iX and then rolled out to other models such as the iX3 and the iXM60 whilst the * and *1 will be installed onto their ICE cousins.

Currently found in the sizes of 255/50R21 and 275/40R22, we are expecting these i* to expand into different sizes!
