How do we know it's Winter in Shropshire?

SO we're rapidly approaching that time of year again (can't quite believe we're writing this either!) - when we'll be back to swapping over summer to winter tyres in Shropshire. After the year so far, it won't be much of a shock if we end up with blizzards in October either!

But here's the thing - certainly for Shrewsbury folk. The annual Shrewsbury Flower Show is traditionally know in the town for heralding the start of winter. Ok, we all know it really doesn't but psychologically there's a certain amount of conditioning there as the nights steadily draw in after mid August!

Who knows what this winter will bring with regards lock downs, distancing and travel? One thing we'd like to be sure of though is our continuation of service throughout.
