All 4x4 tyres are graded with an "on road/off road capability" ratings – these are displayed as a grade from 1 – 10 which acts like a percentage. For example, the General Grabber AT3 is currently rated "6", which would represent 60% off-road and 40% on-road.

The higher the rating, the more "chunky" and "aggressive" the tread is, meaning the tyre is designed to plough its way through trickier surfaces and more mud!
