Mobile tyre fitting at Dower House
Hometyre Norfolk, your local mobile tyre fitting service, visited our friends at The Dower House touring and camping park today. Dower house is located in West Harling in between Diss and Thetford.
The repeat client had a puncture on a Vauxhall Insignia that was unfortunately not repairable due to the nail penetrating the shoulder of the tyre, which is an unrepairable area as it's not located in the central 3/4 of the tyre tread. Hometyre removed a Devanti budget tyre and replaced it with a new 245/45R18 mid range Nexen tyre. The second vehicle was a Mercedes Benz A-class that also had a puncture and had been driven on flat and was unsafe to carry out a puncture repair.
A premium Dunlop tyre was removed and a new 225/45R18 mid range Hankook tyre was fitted.
We also fitted 4 new 205/80R16 budget Kormoran off-road All Terrain tyres to their site vehicle, which was on an old land rover discovery (the vehicle had no MOT and wasn't road worthy, so is just used to pull caravans and trailers around the camp site). We removed some very old 14 year old worn and perished Continental tyres.
We have been to this campsite a number of times before fitting tyres to both single and twin axle caravans as well as a number of vehicles from Nissan trucks to vans.
The customer was very pleased as always as our mobile tyre fitting service as we were able to complete all our work on site while they could continue working.
