Mobile Locking Wheel Nut Removal and Tyre Fitting Service around Bury St Edmunds

Another successful mobile locking wheel nut removal service to a Ford transit van with a new  215/55/16 mid range Nexen tyre the week for Hometyre Norfolk. 

Hometyre Norfolk took the mobile tyre fitting service to a new customer in the village of Bardwell, Bury st Edmunds.

The customer had a blow out on on the A11, which had been due to a puncture. The customer went to put on their spare-tyre and realised that the locking wheel nut key had been rounded by a local garage and they had to be towed home.

Luckily for the customer they managed to find mobile tyre fitting service Hometyre Norfolk on google and we were able to get to them the next working day. We went out to their home address they were working from home.

We removed a Continental  tyre with the DOT( date of tyre) code dating to 2016 which was coming up as 5 years old. Although the tyre had pleats of tread on, the tyre had started to show signs of ageing and had started to perish. This can be just as dangerous as having no tread on your tyres. This is what we put the blow out down to.

Hometyre checked the other tyres and left the customer very happy.
