Horsing around

Hometyre Norfolk, the mobile fitting service, were called to a job last week.

The job was in Weeting at the Sandbox self storage facility for caravans and horse boxes.

We were called to change four Nexen Rodian CT8s tyres 165/80/R13.

The tyres we removed were from 2003, making them 15 years old 😮. This is much higher than the recommended time to change your tyres. The tyres in this case were perishing and cracking dramatically, making them a danger to the driver and others on the road. Any vehicle, car, van, caravan, horse box, trailer, any vehicle which hits the road are recommended to have tyres changed every 5-6 years. This because by this time the tyres have started to perish, causing punctures and even worse 'blow-outs.
