Tyre Checks During The Summer Holidays

Before you head away on your summer trips, or loaded up and off to the airport during the summer holidays, its a great idea to check your tyres!

No, really. Think about it! All the planning and preparations, the excited kids, the early flight and expectations could all be undone by a simple tyre failure! Missed flights, hours spent on the roadside (potentially out of the car in the rain!) etc.

Simple Two minute Tyre Check Over 

A couple of minutes could save hours and hours of heartache and annoyance! So get out there, get on your bended knees and let's make sure you're safe to travel! 

Makes sure your tyres have ample tread (to keep Mr Plod at bay!). Make sure there's nothing stuck in them that shouldn't be there (one of them been losing pressure for a while? Now's the time to action it!).... And of course make sure that they are correctly inflated for the load you are carrying. Running your hand (carefully) over the whole tread area will let you know if there may be issues to consider - so if it feels perfectly round or knobbly like a 50 pence piece it's definitely something you need to talk to us about!
