Checking Tyres and When to Change

Checking tyres is something that should be done on a regular basis. Monthly is ideal. Being summer time, now is a great time to check your tyres. The roads are in good condition so you may not realise your tyres are due to be changed. By checking the wear bars you will be able to see if they are due to be changed.

A tread depth check with a tyre depth guage or a 20p peice are useful to measure your tread. If your tyres has 3mm or less tread depth it is time to change your tyres.
