How Do I Find My Tyre Size?

The best way to find out which tyre size you need is to look at your current tyres. You will find the tyre size imprinted on the sidewall of the tyre (e.g. 205 50 R16 98V run flat). You are looking for the width of t he tyre (i.e. 205), the sidewall (i.e. 55) and the rim size (i.e. 17). You will also need the load and speed rating (i.e. 92W) and finally check if it is a run flat or specialist fitment for your type of car (i.e. AO for Audi).

Can My Puncture Be Repaired?

It all depends on how much damage has been done to the tyre. If there is any damage to the side wall or shoulder of the tyre, this would be deemed unsafe to repair as the structural integrity of the tyre has been compromised. The hole in the tyre needs to be less than 6mm in diameter and be in the central 3/4 the tread. If there is no obvious damage to the tyre and you have a slow puncture, it's best to give us a call and we can try and resolve this.

Do You Sell Part Worn Tyres?

No, we do not have a track history for part worn tyres, the risk of fitting a tyre you don't know the history of is too great and we specialise in brand new tyres only. A recent Tyre Safe investigation found that 98% of part worn tyres were illegal; 16% contained dangerous or unsafe repairs; and 18% contained other potentially lethal forms of damage or non-compliance.
