Mobile Peugeot Centreless Wheel Balancing in Dover | Hometyre Mobile Balancing Service

Hometyre Kent were asked to visit a client in Dover, Kent, to balance all four wheels on this Peugeot 407SW. This Peugeot has centreless wheels, meaning it requires an adapter for wheel balancing, the client was turned down by several garages in the last weeks as they couldn’t balance centreless wheel. The customer rang into the office to ask whether we could help and we immediately said yes!

I was well greeted by the customer upon my arrival, where he explained he was trying to get the job done for nearly two month but could not find a garage that could help! For this reason he was very interested to see and learn a bit more about the adapter and how it works.

He handed over the car keys, the locking wheel nut and kindly offered a cup of coffee shortly before taking his dog for a short walk in the neighbourhood. We started all preliminaries checks, confirmed that all four tyres were in good shape then could move onto balancing the wheels. The spider like mechanism was opened up and the wheel slid on. After balancing all four wheels and adjusting accordingly, they were popped back onto the car where the customer gave it a quick test drive. Coming back beaming from ear to ear, I think we did a fantastic job!
