Winter/Summer Tyre Swap Over in Keswick

A customer in Cockermouth called us earlier this week asking for her winter tyres to be fitted to her Peugeot Bipper, our immediate though was why on earth does somebody want to fit winter tyres to their vehicle at the start of Spring?!

After a conversation with the customer she informed us she was driving to the Alps for a skiing holiday, all made sense now! She had decided to leave the winter tyres off for the season but then booked this last minute holiday and desperately needed them fitting!

European Winter Tyre regulations differ from country to country, this particular customer was heading to France, in France winter tyres are not compulsory however lack of winter tyre fitment can be used as a reason for responsibility in the result of an accident.
