Tyres for a local business in Keswick

We were called out to a new customer in the heart of Keswick, a local business owner of 'Wilde & Romantic', an event planning company here in the Lakes. They had suffered a puncture in their trusty work van and needed it back on the road as soon as possible!

With a call to Hometyre late on the Tuesday afternoon, they were booked in for the following morning to have the puncture looked at with a potential new tyre loaded onto the van just in case. Our standard procedure with puncture repairs is to check it is repairable to the BSAU159 standards and if it does not meet all the necessary criteria's for a repair we have a tyre available to get the customer moving again that same day.

In this instance the customer did have a repairable puncture, however upon inspection of their other 3 tyres, we found one of them was getting close to the legal limit. We advised the customer to get this tyre replaced whilst we were on site because it would need replacing within the next month anyway given the amount of mileage they were doing per day.

We fitted a brand new Nexen Roadian CT8 (Commercial grade) tyre to their Vauxhall Vivaro, took payment on site and the customer was good to go! Another day making Lake District wedding dreams a reality!
