Emergency Call Out for a Honda Civic

With a wide range of tyres in stock, we can often get to people within the hour. On this occasion, we were called out to a customer in Keswick who had experience a blow out on a country road. After a quick phone call to the office, we got the customer booked in for a new front tyre.

Upon arriving, it was evident that no amount of sticky tape, hopes and dreams or glue was going to fix this tyre. Removing the old tyre took a bit longer than usual as the chords were showing. These can be incredibly sharp and can cause some nasty cuts. But, with a bit of effort and very few cuts, the old tyre was off and in the back of the van for disposal. The new 195/50 R15 Excelon tyre was then pressed onto the alloy and inflated to the correct pressure. After a balance and a quick scrub, it was then put back on the vehicle.
