Tyres fitted to a VW Golf and BMW 8 Series in Cambridge

We recently had a call from a client looking to book in his and the partner's car needing two new front tyres on each. By spending the afternoon researching, he knew exactly what he was looking for! Firstly, his MK8 Volkswagen Golf needed two front 225/40R18 Pirelli Pzero tyres as, by his own admission, he borrows her car and takes it for a 'bit of a spin' to make sure that all the pipes are clear and in peak working condition for when she drives into the local town for work. Although it's not used for much mileage, they could see themselves using the car more and more in the future with a little one on the way – Nursery, daycare and hospital appointments for example.

His own personal car was a BMW 8 Series that needed two rear tyres. Although it's a rather uncommon car with few brands choosing to develop tyres in a 275/30R20, the client opted for Run-Flat Hankook tyres which were the original fitment for the car anyway.

Arriving at the home address, both vehicles were waiting for us on the driveway. I did a thorough inspection of all the tyres first and then proceeded on to change the tyres.
