Continental tyres fitted to VW Amarok and BMW 3 series near Newmarket.

The village of Burwell was popular last week as we found ourselves fitting new tyres for our customers on three consecutive days, with the last visit fitting a full set of Continental runflat tyres size 225/45/R17 to a BMW 3 series. We were called to a local garage near Newmarket to fit a Continental Cross Contact tyre size 255/55/R19 to a VW Amarok as the vehicle had failed the mot test due to a tyre having low tread depth. We were also called by a regular customer living in Longstanton as a rear tyre on a Mercedes was losing air pressure and on arrival we discovered the tyre to be seven years old so we fitted a new Bridgestone RE050 tyre size 285/30/R19 to the vehicle. As we were fitting the new tyre we had a call from another customer living in Longstanton who was also losing air pressure in a rear tyre but fortunately the screw was embedded in the centre of the tyre so we were able to repair the tyre.
