It's not just our fitters who understand the ins and outs of tyre fitting! Every single member of our office team at HQ have got hands on with the practical side of the job.

We always send any new members of staff out with a technician in our network, even long-standing members of staff get a refresher every now and again! Because we think it's so important for our sales team to have a full understanding of how our mobile vans operate, we sent our latest member of staff at HQ out with our local fitter in Bristol!

The first booking Sergio and Adam attended was a single tyre on an Audi Q5. This particular booking had originated from a puncture that had been picked up a couple of miles from the customers home, unfortunately because the tyre had been driven on whilst under inflated the tyre was unable to be repaired. They fitted a brand new 235/55R19 Continental Sport Contact 5 to the Q5 to match the other 3 tyres on the car. We always bring a potential replacement with us to a puncture repair just as a last resort! Regardless of whether a puncture is safely and legally repairable, we don't want to leave you stranded!

Up next was a VW Transporter, this vehicle needed 2 new rear tyres fitting due to general wear. This particular Transporter had been fitted with 19" wheels, which isn't a standard fit on a commercial vehicle! Although it might look good, these vehicles aren't designed to be fitted with such big wheels so the only option for tyres lies with car tyres. It's not something we would advise, however it's the best fit option in this situation. 2 brand new Nexen NFera tyres in a 255/45R19 fitted and another happy customer!

A couple of jobs later and the final addition to the day, a Vauxhall Vivaro in need of 2 new tyres. This vehicle belonged to a local business owner who was on site working himself! We fitted the 195/65R16 Commercial Tyres to his van whilst he worked, saving him not only time but money as well!
