Being an owner of a car which is not fitted with a spare wheel but supplied with a pot of goo and a compressor instead, I was dreading a puncture.

Well, it happened. Having read mixed reviews of experiences in using these repair kits, I decided to go for the mobile repair option as I knew the tyre was repairable and didn't want to risk wrecking a tyre with many miles still left on it.

At first it wasn't a delightful experience having being quoted up to three days for an appointment by other providers. But then I came across Hometyre. I contacted them at lunch time and by 5 p.m. the puncture was repaired and at a reasonable cost. Even though I hope that I do not have cause to use this service again, If I have to, then Hometyre will be my first point of contact.
