I Have Paid for My Tyres but Have Not Yet Received a Confirmation?

Once the appointment has been completed and payment taken, you should receive an email to confirm receipt from our payment provider (subject to system connectivity). Should you not receive this, please contact us on 0333 444 5454 or 01743 861 183 within a week of the completed booking. For tyres ordered upfront (often specialist tyres) a receipt will be sent out after payment. All invoices include full VAT details.

 

The Registration Number of My Vehicle Lists Different Vehicle Details?

Our data is sourced from the DVLA database and can contain errors. 

If you are using the registration details to check the tyre size, please visually inspect the tyres currently installed – as well as the tyre information label normally mounted to the driver side B-post or the fuel filler cap. You must contact DVLA directly to update any submission errors.

Do You Supply AND Fit Tyres?

We do indeed!

Our fleet of specialist vehicles has access to hundreds of thousands of tyres. When you buy tyres with Hometyre, they will be fitted by Hometyre people from Hometyre liveried vans at the time and location of your choosing. In the unlikely event of any issue arising, you have a team of people ready to help and the dedication of your local fitter on hand too. Do I Have to Pay For My Tyres Upfront?

In the event of an unusual or specialist tyre being ordered, we may require payment upfront. Otherwise, we are pleased to make a booking for you and take payment upon completion on site via our mobile Chip & Pin machines. Our payment terminals are secure and safe. 

 

Can You Work on My Porsche?

Of course! Having worked with Porsche UK for the recent launch of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS and the 992 GT3 RS, you'll be in the hands of people who knows these cars inside and out. We'll always look to match your tyres with the correct 'N' Porsche rated tyres as there is excellent support in the premium tyre industry for manufacturing. In addition, we are fully equipped to deal with all Porsche vehicles fitted with the single-spindle central locking wheel nut device. Please do let us know upon booking if your vehicle is fitted with this specialist system. 

 

Are You Available for Race Track Support?

Absolutely! Having worked with Porsche UK for the press release of the new 992 generation 911 GT3 RS, Goodwood festival of speed and a certain Mr Cruise for an Impossible trailer released at the start of the recent F1 season, we are well equipped in the technology and knowhow to help. I Have a Vintage Car With Tubes and Single Spindle Wheels, Is That OK to Work On?

Yes indeed,

Whether is be an Austin Healey or Lotus Eleven we love working on these types of vehicles because every one is different. You will find that our team has a real passion for these types of cars. Our national suppliers have access to hundreds of thousands of different tyres and tube brands so if you're after something specific and it's not listed on our site, don't hesitate to give us a call!

Can You Work on My Small Trailers or Car Transporters?

Yes we can but there are a couple of caveats. We cannot work on wheels below 12 inches or wheels that have a size designation including a half i.e. R16.5. We also can't work on trailers with a gross weight of above 3.5 tonnes.

Can You Work on Truck/HGV Tyres?

No, we do not have the equipment to work on these types of vehicles.
