Hometyre were excellent. They came within four hours of me calling. They changed the tyre even though it was in quite a tricky position. They made what I thought was going to be a huge problem into a tiny mole hill. I would certainly use them again.

On the 16th April I was stranded by a puncture whilst visiting friends in the next village. As it happened, the tool kit in the car did not have a suitable wheel wrench to undo the wheel bolts because they had been overtightened at some point in the past. When we contacted the nearest Hometyre depot there was only one person in the office but he agreed to come out and help - which he did - putting on the spare in just a few minutes. What's more, he did not charge me for a Saturday callout and took the punctured tyre in to the depot to be repaired. The mended tyre was delivered and fitted on the 18th, as promised.

In my opinion, this incident showed how things should be done; all your staff involved gave excellent service, and were polite, helpful and considerate (I have Parkinson's, which makes life difficult in many ways, especially in situations such as this). As a final comment, I was very pleasantly surprised by how small the bill was; great value for money!
