A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System can be fitted to any vehicle. We supply and fit to cars, 4x4s, caravans, motorhomes and classics - in fact whatever you drive!

So what is it and what does TPMS do?

Modern tyres have much lower profiles than those of years past. Consequently it can be much harder to see the difference between a fully pressurised tyre and an underinflated one. Result being that most motorists continue driving with often seriously deflated tyres. This can cause safety issues for starters but during tough times can really hit the pocket hard.

Did you know?

A tyre with 3psi (pound per square inch) pressure reduction would suffer a tyre wear ratio INCREASE of 5% and a reduction of fuel economy to the tune of 1.9%.

A tyre with just 10psi reduction from the manufacturers recommended setting would wear tread at a staggering 37% increase and suffer a 6.25% reduction in fuel economy. A 20% drop in pressure would equate to a 20% increase in fuel consumption!

When a tyre is correctly inflated it will have less rolling resistance, therefore maintaining a lower operating temperature - maximising tyre life and maintaining better fuel mileage.

TPMS installation takes around an hour for a car. We remove each road wheel then strip down the tyre from the wheel. The TPMS sensor valve assembly

assembly is checked for existing punctures/damage or rim corrosion before a 35g sensor valve is fitted to the wheel. This sealed unit sensor has an accuracy delivery of less than +/-1psi and a battery life of over 7 years - providing you with 24hr - 365 day alerting within 3 seconds of any abnormality change.

Once all wheels have been checked and a valve installed to each assembly, the wheels are balanced and fitted back to your vehicle. The display unit is then programmed to pick up the signal emitted from each sensor and mounted within the car at your preferred location. This unit can run off a normal 12V cigarette lighter socket or be hard-wired into the vehicle*.

You then have permanent live feedback from each wheel - providing you with not just tyre pressures but also tyre temperatures!

We supply specific systems for use in caravans and multi-wheeled campervans/motorhomes with the ability to monitor up to sixteen individual wheels! . You can keep track of spare pressures as well as any towed micro car as well.......Couple this with a Multi vehicle TYRON style control unit
