Vehicles need to be prepared for cold weather, Chrysler reports

Vehicles cold weather Crysler check safetyAs the colder months set in, Chrysler's range of dealerships are inviting motorists to get their tyres checked out.

In the firm's 22-point Winter Driving Check, drivers will see the condition of their tyres inspected and the pressure levels examined.

The vehicle inspection, which is on offer until December 31st, will also sees cars' cooling system, lighting and brakes looked at.

Meanwhile, the oil and filter will be changed and windscreen wash topped-up under the service.

Tim Keatinge, managing director for Chrysler's Oxford dealership, states: "With the onset of winter, it is important that motorists' cars are fully prepared for any eventuality.

"A few simple checks before the cold weather kicks in could prevent the risk of breakdown or an accident."

Research carried out by TyreSafe last month reported that Welsh motorists are the most responsible about the condition of their tyres, as four in ten examine their tread depth once every four weeks.ADNFCR-2762-ID-19449203-ADNFCR
