Pirelli tyres provide 'strong environmental performance'

It could be said that now would be a good time to purchase Pirelli tyres that provide a high level of environmental performance.

This is because Tyrepress has highlighted a report by the Tire Review publication which showed that Pirelli's Cinturato range has performed well in recent tests.

These were conducted by the German auto club ADAC, Switzerland's Touring Club and the Austrian automobile club.

People on the lookout for environmentally responsible new tyres might be intrigued to learn that the tests indicated the Cinturato P7 and P6 have strong ecological credentials.

Previously, Robert Keegan, chairman and chief executive officer of Goodyear tyres, noted that his company's recent performance has been closely tied with the sale of fuel-efficient tyres.

He is quoted by etyres as stating: "With fuel-efficient tyres, we have created a major new growth generator for our company and for our customers."
