Lewis Hamilton is feeling positive about his improved MP4-25's performance this year.
He recently spoke to the official Formula 1 (F1) Championship website about the vehicle, which has been worked on after initial concerns it wasn't up to scratch.
The tyres behave pretty much the same as they did in the past, only with a little more understeer at the front, Hamilton said.
However, it will be important to fit in some longer drives to see how the tyres behave, he added, going on to note that the input and collaboration he has had with the car's improvements have been very exciting.
And in terms of the competition, the F1 star remarked: "Obviously the Ferrari seems very quick and so does the Sauber. But we don't know what fuel loads everyone else was on. We felt quite comfortable with what we were doing."
This year, the championship's first race is in Bahrain, scheduled for March 12th-14th.
