Michelin tyres 'help prevent punctures'

Michelin car tyres prevention damageMichelin tyres will soon be used by Huws Gray Building Supplies, according to the tyre maker.

The products are set to feature on the organisation's fleet of 60 forklifts, after a successful year-long trial of XZM tyres at the Huws Gray branch in Gaerwen, Wales.

David Jones, transport manager at the building supplier, suggested that the tyres have been impressive in terms of lowering puncture risk.

He said: "We have seen little wear to the Michelin tyres in the year since they were fitted and they have proved to be totally resistant to damage."

Overall, Mr Jones claimed that he has been "really impressed by the performance of the XZM product".

In addition, drivers who follow suit may find that the XZM provides a welcome cushioning effect.

Elsewhere, those looking for 4x4 tyres could consider Michelin's Latitude Alpin product – which the company claims is effective during bouts of cold weather.ADNFCR-2762-ID-19557970-ADNFCR
