'Get quieter tyres online', expert says

Drivers that are looking to reduce the amount of noise from their tyres might want to obtain one particular product, judging by an expert's comments.

Writing in the Telegraph, Honest John gave his opinion on what type of product makes for a quieter driving experience.

Responding to a question regarding how to reduce unnecessary tyre noise, he stated: "Swap to Michelin Pilot Primacy HP when they get worn to between three and two millimetres."

In the letter request, it was also noted that although the Bridgestone Turanza 205/55/R16 tyres on standard wheels provide great handling, they were not the most silent on the market.

The letter writer also recommended Continental Conti Premium Contact tyres, which may find favour with consumers looking to boost their tyre performance.

According to TyreSafe, motorists who hit the road this winter should ensure that their tyres are sufficiently inflated in order to avoid blowout whilst travelling at high speeds.
