A new study has seen Volkswagen named Europe's most reliable car manufacturer.
In a poll carried out by RoadTestReports.co.uk, motorists across Britain were asked to name which firm they believe produces the best and most reliable cars, with the German firm gaining just over one-third (35 per cent) of the votes.
Second on the poll was Skoda which received 18 per cent, followed by SEAT.
The top five was rounded out by Citroen and Fiat.
"Volkswagen has always had a great reputation; it is an aspirational yet affordable brand. It has worked hard to strike that rare balance and UK car buyers love the carmaker's models as a result," RoadTestReports.co.uk spokesperson Faye Sunderland states.
Motorists keen on avoiding the number of vehicle breakdowns and other motoring mishaps that they suffer while on the road may also want to keep their tyres in good condition.
One means of doing this could be to purchase a tyre pressure monitoring system, which allows drivers to keep an eye on tyre wear, control and fuel economy.
