The Toyo Tyre company is to increase its commitment to motorsports in 2010 by launching contingency support for its racers.
It will help a number of selected drivers to compete in various racing series, where the organisation's Open Country tyres will be in use.
Commenting on the developments, Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports at the company, suggested that the brand's selection of products could help a number of star performers.
He stated: "Both amateur and professional racers alike can benefit from Toyo Tyres' support of racing, while enjoying the advantages of competing on products that are capable of delivering championships."
In other news, Robby Gordon was recently victorious in the fourth stage of the 2010 Dakar Rally using Toyo Open Country MT-Rs tyres.
With a time of one hour, 40 minutes and 21 seconds, the racer was one second in front of the second-placed driver by the finish.
