Drivers who own a Land Rover might be well-equipped to deal with the wintry weather due to the strong level of tyre grip found in such vehicles.
The company recently highlighted its range of technologies - such as Electronic Traction Control, Terrain Response and Hill Descent Control - which arguably boost motorists' ability to deal with snowy conditions.
John Edwards, UK managing director at the manufacturer, noted: "When conditions become treacherous, there is one manufacturer that the emergency services turn to – Land Rover."
Specifically, the company claims that drivers who turn their Terrain Response system to 'snow' can deal with icy weather more effectively.
A Land Rover motor - such as the Discovery 4 - could therefore be an attractive proposition for consumers who are seeking a reliable driving experience.
Elsewhere, the manufacturer recently announced details of its Freelander 2 model - set to be launched in 2010 – which features 19-inch diamond turned alloy wheels.
