Nokian 4x4 tyres offer 'superb road grip'

Nokian Tyres has launched its new Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 SUV studded 4x4 tyres, a sturdy new design intended to be suitable for wintry and poor-weather conditions.

The tyre is built around a newly devised construction, featuring tread blocks with droplet-shaped air shock absorbers on their leading edges.

Among the benefits of these cavities are reduced road noise and less vibration associated with the tread bouncing from the road's surface.

Entirely new studs are also used on the tyres as part of the company's Air Claw Technology, with the studs kept perpendicular to the road surface at all times for optimal performance.

Nokian Tyres says that the design of the 4x4 tyres makes them able to adapt quickly to changing road conditions - from frost and snow to rain.

The company's Hakkapeliitta brand has also recently been admitted to Finland's List of Trademarks with a Reputation, which contains only trademarks considered to have substantial public awareness in the country.
