Land Rover Discovery in Watford WD17 with Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/60/R18 112V

Customer called needing 2 tyres for his Land Rover Discovery, talked to him about his driving style and he wanted to stay with what he already had, so ordered 2 Pirelli Scorpion 255/60/18 tyres as this was what he already had.

Arranged an appointment for that afternoon.

Arrived at the appointment and checked over the 2 rear tyres to ensure they needed replacing, down to 2 mm on both tyres so they would have to be replaced, he said that he had just come back from a skiing trip in Austria and had noticed that the back end of the Land Rover was sliding a bit.

Got the locking wheel nut out of the boot and removed the locking wheel nuts, then gently released the other wheel nuts and jacked the car up. Undid the wheel nuts and removed the wheels from the car. Over to the van to change the tyres.

Took the tyres off and replaced with the new boots, balanced both wheels and then put them back onto the Land Rover, tightened the wheel nuts up to the manufacturer's specification and replaced all the tools in the van.

Put the locking wheel nut back in the boot and marked this on the invoice, checked the tyre pressures and tread depth on the remaining tyres (including the spare), all ok so that was that job done.

Total time from start to finish 40 minutes. Customer very happy that we could do his tyres at home. Saved him having to get the kids dressed and loaded into the car to get the tyres changed.
