Hometyre recently completed a mobile tyre fitting appointment in Keswick, where our fitter, Rich, replaced a tyre on a Lexus NX at the customer's home.

Rather than taking time out to visit a garage, the customer booked a convenient home fitting appointment, allowing the work to be completed on the driveway while they continued with their day.

During the appointment, Rich carried out an inspection of the vehicle before fitting the replacement tyre.

The Lexus NX had covered just over 52,000 miles and required one new tyre. For this visit, Hometyre supplied and fitted a Yokohama Geolandar G058 tyre in size 225/60 R18 100H, matching the current tyres fitted to the vehicle. Only one tyre was needed and the G058 is a pattern best fitted as a full set.

As part of the appointment, Rich also completed wheel balancing, tyre pressure checks, a tyre safety inspection, and final torque checks before the vehicle was returned to the customer.

The fitting was completed entirely on-site, removing the need for the customer to arrange a fixed site appointment elsewhere.
