CARAVAN & MOTORHOME TYRES

Hometyre have access to a vast range of caravan tyres. 6 Ply, 8 Ply, Camper, Commercial, Reinforced & Extra load tyres. Call our sales office for advice on the best tyres for your caravan or motorhome.  Don't leave it till the day before your holiday, check your tyres now and give us a call.  It is recommended that leisure vehicles change their tyres every 5 to 7 years regardless of tread left.  Why tow a caravan to a tyre depot, when we can come to you - at your home, storage area or even at a camp site. We can even deal with tyron bands and tpms units if fitted.

TYRON SAFETY BANDS  &  TPMS UNITS

Check out the Tyron.co.uk web site and see how your caravans safety can be improved by the addition of Tyron bands inside your wheels.  Hometyre technicians have been trained by Tyron in the installation of their products, so if you want to have your Tyron bands fitted correctly, call us on the free phone number.  There is even a special Tyron band for use with a TPMS unit, if you already have one installed or if you want us to install one.

LOCKING WHEEL NUT REMOVALS

Hometyre have specialist tooling to remove all types of Lock nut without damaging your wheel -  if you have lost or broken your Adapter.  We can even remove the hardened chromed nuts with the revolving collar (Macguard nuts), most of the cheap store bought devices will not work on these types of nut.  If we do remove your lock nuts, then you will need to buy some more nuts to replace the ones we remove.

TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Hometyre have two systems we can install for you, Tyrons own system which is battery powered or Tyresure which uses the cigarette lighter adapter (Or they can be hard wired ). These devices give a readout on your vehicles tyre pressure every 3 seconds and will alert you if there is a sudden change in pressure or temperature.    There are various versions of each  unit, some are designed for car use, some for Vans / Motorhomes and others for Caravans and the towing vehicle.    Call for advice on the correct set up for you.
