Been fitting a lot of winter tyres in south shields

Sales of winter tyres to our South Shields customers,  also known as snow tyres,  are still going strong even though it doesn't look like we're going to have a white xmas

There's no snow forecast for the South Shields area until the new year but we will have several days with sub zero temperatures. So even if it doesn't snow in the South Shields area you'll be better off on winter tyres.

Winter tyres, or snow tyres, come into their own once temperatures drop below 7'c and that definitely   going to happen in and around South Shields the coming  weeks.

At the moment there are reasonable stocks of standard sizes of winter tyres for our South Shields customers, but don't leave it until it snows as stocks of winter tyres will soon run out. 

Unusual sizes of winter tyres will need to be ordered from Holland and will take around 7 days to arrive.
