Leaking alloys are the real cause of most slow punctures in Hexham
The vast majority of slow punctures that our mobile tyre fitting workshop goes to in the Hexham area are actually caused by corrosion on the interior the alloy wheel. This prevents the bead of the tyre from sealing properly and leads to a slow air lose, hence the slow puncture.
This problem usually occurs for our Hexham customers when they have new tyres fitted. Most traditional Hexham based tyre fitters will, if they do anything at all, carry out a short term bodge that will last a few months.
Our mobile tyre fitters covering the Newcastle area will completely remove all the corrosion or oxidisation and then re paint the inside of the wheel.
This is a permanent fix and will last for several years.
We've recently fixed slow punctures at Cobalt Business Park Newcastle, South Shields, Newcastle Quay Side, Blyth and Sunderland
