Tyre Types

There are 3 main types of tyres.
1.Summer Tyres, which are to be used during fine weather driving. This is down to tread pattern and rubber compound designed for warm dry/wet driving conditions.
2.All Season Tyres, these are designed to handle all wether conditions. Tread pattern and rubber compounds are designed to handle all weather conditions. In severe snow and ice conditions they will struggle to cope.
3.Winter Tyres, These come in to play when snow and ice hit us and will give you far more traction in servere winter conditions than other types of tyres. There is a down side to them, you cannot use these tyres all year round. Once the snow and ice disappear and the temp starts to warm up, you will have to change back to either summer or all seaon tyres.
